Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Inspector – Pengawas Mutu Produk to join our fast‑growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections and laboratory tests at every stage of production to guarantee that our cleaning‑chemical products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspections for raw materials and packaging, verifying compliance with specifications.
- Conduct in‑process testing, including pH, viscosity, color, aroma, and active ingredient concentration, using calibrated laboratory equipment.
- Inspect finished goods prior to release, ensuring that all products are ready for warehouse storage and shipment.
- Accurately record test results in electronic logs and generate daily QC reports for management review.
- Identify non‑conforming products, initiate hold or reject actions, and document root‑cause analyses.
- Collect, label, and retain representative samples for future reference or stability studies.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, and analytical balances.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and demonstrating adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Participate in continuous‑improvement projects, suggesting process enhancements that reduce variability and improve product consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 in Chemistry, Chemical Analysis, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on QC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in soap, detergent, or cleaning‑chemical production.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment (pH meter, viscometer, analytical balance) and understanding of basic chemical and physical testing methods.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data entry, formula creation, and report generation; comfortable working with data‑intensive tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and a willingness to work shift schedules (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Age limit: maximum 30 years; gender: all genders accepted.
- Additional assets: experience with soap/detergent/cleaning‑chemical manufacturing, knowledge of GLP, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo.
- Understanding of K3 (occupational safety) and GMP/GLP regulations is highly desirable.
