Whether you are interacting directly with guests or preparing dishes behind the scenes, your contribution will be essential to creating memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, present menus, and answer inquiries about dishes, beverages, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are clearly noted.
- Deliver orders promptly to tables, checking for completeness and quality before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for the next guests.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and replenishing ingredients during peak periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions, process payments, and issue receipts while adhering to company cash‑handling policies.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to manage shift changes, support busy periods, and resolve any service issues quickly.
- Follow all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper sanitation of workstations and equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, new products, and service standards.
- Provide feedback to management on guest preferences, recurring issues, and opportunities for operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Gender: open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) industry; experience in cafés or casual dining is a strong plus.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills; ability to convey information politely and clearly.
- Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
- Friendly, responsive, and possessing a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper service etiquette.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
