Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Operator Packing to join our fast‑growing distribution center in Karang Anyar (Solo). This position plays a critical role in ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately, safely, and on time. As part of a dynamic logistics team, you will work in a clean, organized warehouse environment that values efficiency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Package products according to company standards, using appropriate materials such as bubble wrap, cartons, and sealing tape.
- Verify that each package matches the corresponding order slip, checking item quantity, SKU, and any special handling instructions.
- Conduct a quality inspection of items before they are packed, reporting any damage, defects, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Apply accurate shipping labels, barcodes, and destination addresses, ensuring legibility and compliance with carrier requirements.
- Organize completed packages in the designated shipping area, maintaining a clear flow for outbound logistics.
- Collaborate with pickers, inventory controllers, and forklift operators to keep the warehouse floor running smoothly.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and cycle‑count activities to support inventory accuracy.
- Participate in daily briefings, share observations on process improvements, and adopt best practices for safety and productivity.
- Remain flexible to work overtime or weekend shifts during peak seasons or special promotions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates aged 30 years or younger.
- Physical fitness and good mental health to handle repetitive tasks and moderate lifting.
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in packing, warehouse, or inventory handling is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Residence in Karanganyar, Solo, or surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Quick adaptation to new processes and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
