Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and energetic Daily Worker Sorter to join our fast‑growing logistics hub at the SPX Lampung Distribution Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every parcel moves smoothly from inbound receipt to outbound delivery, supporting our commitment to on‑time, accurate service for customers across the region. The position is open to candidates of any educational background, with a focus on physical stamina, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Sort packages by route, geographic area, and service type, adhering to pre‑defined coding schemes.
- Operate handheld scanners to update package status in real‑time, ensuring data integrity within the warehouse management system.
- Place sorted items into appropriate bags, baskets, or racks, matching destination codes and maintaining clear visual organization.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities, coordinating with drivers and the logistics team to keep dock doors flowing efficiently.
- Inspect each parcel for damage, proper labeling, and readability; report any exceptions to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and heed directions from team leaders or supervisors, adapting to shift changes as needed.
- Contribute to daily operational targets, tracking personal productivity and supporting overall warehouse KPIs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; all education levels are welcome.
- Male candidates, age 40 or younger.
- Physical fitness to lift, carry, and maneuver parcels typically weighing up to 25 kg.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, Monday through Saturday, 09:00 – 18:00.
- Strong attention to detail, quick learning ability, and ability to meet daily sorting quotas.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the capacity to follow clear instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning devices and warehouse software.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
