To support our expanding portfolio, we are seeking a dedicated Field Collection Officer – Area Cilegon who can combine analytical rigor with excellent interpersonal skills to recover outstanding debts and uphold our brand reputation.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned debtor locations and deliver formal Surat Peringatan (SP) notices to accounts with arrears exceeding 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s financial condition, conduct a thorough analysis of outstanding obligations, and propose realistic repayment plans.
- Negotiate payment options that align with both the customer’s capacity and the company’s recovery targets.
- Monitor promised payment dates, follow up diligently, and ensure that collections are made according to the agreed schedule.
- Track down customers who cannot be reached at their primary residence or workplace, utilizing alternative contact methods and local networks.
- Verify and update all client data, including phone numbers, addresses, and contact preferences, to maintain a clean database.
- Record every interaction and collection activity in the company’s collection management system, ensuring full auditability.
- Prepare detailed visit reports and discuss outcomes with supervisors, highlighting challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with internal collection teams, legal advisors, and other relevant departments to resolve complex cases.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company in the field, reinforcing trust and credibility.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collection, loan recovery, or a related financial role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Male candidates only, with a valid SIM C and personal motor vehicle for field mobility.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities; able to persuade and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- High persistence and a results‑oriented mindset, focused on meeting or exceeding collection targets.
- Team player with solid interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using collection software or mobile applications.
- Residency in Cilegon or surrounding areas, ensuring quick response times to debtor locations.
- Flexible to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime for urgent cases.
