Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven professional to lead our Finance, Accounting, and Tax Operations. As the Head of Finance, you will be the strategic cornerstone for financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and tax compliance across the organization. This senior role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a critical part in shaping the company’s financial health and long‑term growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and certify the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee all cash and bank transactions, ensuring accurate recording, optimal liquidity, and adherence to internal controls.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with department heads to develop realistic forecasts, variance analysis, and rolling forecasts.
- Ensure complete and timely filing of all tax obligations, including PPh, PPN, and regional taxes, while maintaining compliance with evolving regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable, implement credit policies, and monitor collection cycles to minimize days sales outstanding.
- Design and execute tax planning strategies that are both legally compliant and fiscally efficient, aiming to reduce the effective tax rate.
- Coordinate external audits, respond to auditor inquiries, and implement recommended improvements.
- Develop and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and ethical standards.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership for investment decisions, cost‑saving initiatives, and risk management.
- Maintain and enhance financial systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and alignment with best‑practice ERP solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (S1). A professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or tax functions, preferably within a mid‑size or larger organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable management, cash flow forecasting, and budget preparation.
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian tax legislation (PPh, PPN, regional taxes) and proven experience in tax planning and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or MYOB).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of building, coaching, and motivating finance teams.
- Adaptability, analytical mindset, and high attention to detail.
