Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver lesson plans that align with the institute’s curriculum and cater to different proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Create an active, interactive, and positive classroom atmosphere using a blend of traditional teaching methods, digital tools, and creative activities such as role‑plays, debates, and project‑based learning.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback to help learners achieve their language goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Academic Coordinator (PIC) and administrative staff to ensure smooth class scheduling, resource allocation, and timely communication of student performance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson outcomes, and prepare reports for internal review and parent/guardian updates.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and peer‑observation sessions to continuously improve instructional techniques.
- Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants, sharing best practices in classroom management and curriculum delivery.
- Engage in extracurricular activities such as English clubs, language immersion events, and community outreach programs to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in English Education, English Literature, Applied Linguistics, or a related field. Candidates from other disciplines with strong English proficiency are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are welcome.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to employ creative, student‑centered teaching methods that encourage active participation.
- Organizational skills for lesson planning, assessment tracking, and coordination with administrative teams.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching styles to diverse learner needs and cultural backgrounds.
- Residence in Jatinangor or nearby regions, ensuring punctuality and reliability for class schedules.
- Age limit: candidates up to 35 years old are preferred, though exceptional qualifications may be considered.
