Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat Profesional to provide high‑quality private tutoring for elementary (SD) and middle school (SMP) students. The successful candidate will specialize in Mathematics, Science (IPAS), and Indonesian Language (Bindo) for a 5th‑grade class, delivering engaging lessons that boost learners’ confidence and academic performance. This position offers a stable schedule with classes held on Mondays at 15:00, and a full‑time work week from Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans tailored to the curriculum for Mathematics, IPAS, and Bindo, ensuring alignment with national education standards.
- Assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses through diagnostic tests and ongoing formative assessments.
- Provide personalized feedback and remedial support to help students overcome learning gaps.
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Utilize modern teaching aids, digital resources, and interactive activities to make complex concepts accessible.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about progress, upcoming topics, and areas needing attention.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and school staff to share best practices and continuously improve instructional quality.
- Document attendance, lesson outcomes, and any incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Stay current with educational trends, new pedagogical methods, and curriculum updates in the Indonesian education system.
- Participate in periodic training sessions and professional development workshops offered by the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s cultural preferences).
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum allowable age for this role).
- Experience: No prior professional tutoring experience required, but a strong passion for teaching and a solid grasp of the subject matter are essential.
- Subject expertise: Ability to teach Mathematics, IPAS (Science), and Indonesian Language to 5th‑grade students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young learners and their families.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability.
- Proficiency in using basic educational technology (e.g., digital whiteboards, online resources).
- Commitment to a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with a dedicated class slot on Monday at 15:00.
