Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Sales Motorist to join our dynamic team in the Sibolga region. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a strong passion for sales who are eager to launch their career in the automotive industry. The role involves direct customer interaction, field visits, and the promotion of our motor products across North Sumatra. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with occasional travel outside the city.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new retail and wholesale customers within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, present pricing, and negotiate sales contracts.
  • Maintain a daily route plan, visit existing accounts, and ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis to the regional manager.
  • Collaborate with logistics and after‑sales teams to guarantee prompt delivery and resolve any service issues.
  • Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and follow‑up support.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and local traffic regulations while operating a motorbike.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Age: No upper age limit; candidates of any age are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior sales experience required.
  • Own a motorbike and be willing to obtain a SIM C driving licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight in different locations within the Sibolga area.
  • High level of self‑motivation, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile apps and Microsoft Office for reporting purposes.
