Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven SPG Stopper to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic sales professional who thrives in a mobile, client‑focused environment and can quickly build strong relationships with retailers across East and West Jakarta. This role offers a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, with the opportunity to grow within a leading FMCG organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily sales routes across Jakarta Timur and Jakarta Barat, ensuring optimal product coverage and shelf visibility.
- Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of FMCG products to modern trade, traditional trade, and independent retailers.
- Identify new business opportunities, negotiate merchandising agreements, and achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer trends, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, order placements, and inventory levels using the company’s mobile CRM system.
- Provide product training and after‑sales support to retail partners, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the marketing and distribution teams to coordinate promotions, in‑store displays, and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations while on the road.
- Participate in regular performance reviews and sales meetings to share best practices and develop professional skills.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; any vocational background is acceptable.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Jakarta Timur or Jakarta Barat to facilitate efficient route planning.
- Mobility: Willingness to work mobile, travelling extensively throughout the assigned territories.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No upper age limit; we value competence and enthusiasm above age.
- Key Skills: Strong adaptation abilities, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a customer‑centric mindset.
