Responsibilities

  • Assist senior kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes, ensuring each plate meets Accor’s quality and presentation standards.
  • Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and food safety protocols (HACCP) to maintain consistency and hygiene.
  • Prep vegetables, sauces, and garnishes; handle basic butchery tasks and stock inventory as directed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and steamers safely and efficiently.
  • Support the line cook during peak service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders to the service area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including regular sanitation of surfaces, tools, and equipment.
  • Participate in daily briefings, receiving feedback and contributing ideas for menu improvements.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to understand guest preferences and special dietary requirements.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Continuously develop culinary techniques through on‑the‑job training and Accor’s learning programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a hot kitchen or similar food‑service environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Comfortable thriving in a high‑tempo, pressure‑driven setting.
  • Passion for culinary arts, with a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen safety.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
