Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef and line cooks in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards by cleaning workstations, equipment, and storage areas according to SOPs.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and ensure proper rotation of stock to minimize waste.
- Set up cooking stations before service and break them down afterward, ensuring all tools are sanitized and stored correctly.
- Support the preparation of daily menus, including special dietary requests and allergen‑free options.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service targets, ensuring meals are ready on time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
- Document any discrepancies in ingredient quality or equipment functionality and report them to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular training sessions on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in a similar food‑preparation role.
- Demonstrated commitment, discipline, and honesty in previous positions.
- Humility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing kitchen demands.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a focus on meeting production and quality goals.
- Strong basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
