We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accounting Staff to join our finance team and take ownership of our financial reporting processes. This pivotal role involves preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate financial statements that support strategic decision‑making across the organization. Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and relevant tax regulations.
- Coordinate the closing process, ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the general ledger, verify postings, and resolve any discrepancies identified during audits.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis, providing insightful commentary to senior management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, collections, and payments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including procurement, sales, and operations—to gather necessary financial data.
- Assist in internal and external audit activities, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Utilize accounting software and advanced Excel functions to automate routine tasks and increase efficiency.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
- Indonesian citizenship, age not exceeding 35 years.
- Must be of the Islamic faith, respecting the cultural values of the organization.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) or in the process of obtaining it.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer operations, particularly accounting software (e.g., SAP, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to convey financial information clearly.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
- Residency in Kebumen is highly preferred, reflecting our focus on local talent.
- Strategic accounting skills, including cost analysis, forecasting, and financial planning.
