Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and address the specific learning gaps of each student.
- Prepare customized teaching materials, worksheets, and practice tests that reinforce core concepts such as algebra, geometry, and basic statistics.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, informal observation, and detailed feedback reports for parents and school coordinators.
- Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring that visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners all receive effective support.
- Maintain a positive, energetic classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and respectful peer interaction.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and curriculum designers to share best practices, develop new teaching aids, and continuously improve the tutoring program.
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding student achievements, challenges, and recommended next steps for continued growth.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and occasional community outreach events aimed at promoting STEM education.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field; current university students in at least their 7th semester are also welcome to apply.
- Strong, in‑depth knowledge of junior high school mathematics topics and the ability to explain them in simple, relatable terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with adolescents and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Creative mindset and the willingness to develop innovative teaching methods and interactive activities.
- Reliability and punctuality, with availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
