Introduction
The Sales Officer – Marketing (Subulussalam) is a dynamic, front‑line position responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition and retention of both existing and new customers. Working within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment, the successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company’s product portfolio and the distribution channels that bring those products to market. Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s product range to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the Subulussalam region.
- Generate and secure orders from distribution channels, ensuring accurate initial data entry and thorough verification of customer documentation.
- Prepare, review, and complete credit applications, coordinating with the finance team to expedite approvals.
- Monitor the progress of credit applications, providing timely updates and decisions to dealers and end‑customers.
- Communicate payment schedules, due dates, and collection points, and proactively address any customer inquiries related to invoicing or delivery.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and forecast, reporting weekly performance metrics to senior management.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales support teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in regular training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay current on new offerings and sales techniques.
- Travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors accepted); fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age limit: 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within a distribution or retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build trust.
- High level of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a personal sales pipeline.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and reliable personal transportation.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with occasional weekend or evening appointments as required by customer needs.
- Key competencies: sales management (B2C), persuasive communication, customer‑oriented mindset, negotiation, and problem‑solving.
