Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Barista Profesional to join our vibrant coffee shop team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and seasonal specialty drinks in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, including regular equipment cleaning, calibration of grinders, and daily deep‑cleaning schedules.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; perform stock counts and communicate re‑order needs to the manager.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the POS system accurately, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles, fostering an educational experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours and to support back‑of‑house operations when needed.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper storage of perishable items and maintaining hygiene certifications.
- Assist in creating and updating seasonal menus, participating in product tastings, and contributing ideas for new drink innovations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer feedback, resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a barista or in a similar customer‑facing hospitality role.
- Strong communication skills; able to engage customers in both Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a sense of responsibility in handling cash and inventory.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, adapting to varying shift patterns.
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure during high‑traffic periods, maintaining composure and quality.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
- Essential barista skills: espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and knowledge of coffee bean characteristics.
