Introduction
Sarana Gemilang Elektronik, a leading retailer of consumer electronics, gadgets, and automotive accessories in East Kalimantan, is seeking a dynamic Promotor Penjualan to join our sales team in Balikpapan. As a Promotor Penjualan, you will be the face of our brand, driving product awareness, generating leads, and converting interest into sales while maintaining the high service standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote and demonstrate electronic, gadget, and automotive products to customers in the showroom and at special events.
- Engage customers with clear, persuasive communication, answering product questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product specifications, pricing, and promotional offers to provide accurate recommendations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and incentive quotas set by management.
- Track daily sales activities, update the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and prepare regular sales reports.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely replenishment.
- Assist in the set‑up of promotional displays, in‑store events, and product launches.
- Collect customer feedback and market insights to help refine product assortments and marketing strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with fellow sales staff and management to develop effective sales techniques and share best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales of electronics, gadgets, or automotive products.
- Strong interpersonal skills: honest, communicative, and loyal.
- Proficiency with communication tools (phone, email, messaging apps) and customer management software.
- Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
- Ability to work full‑time with a schedule of 08:00 – 17:00, Monday through Friday (exact days to be confirmed).
