Introduction
Meat N Fresh, a leading retailer of fresh meat and grocery products in the Wonomulyo region of Polewali Mandar, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Kepala Toko (Store Manager). This role is pivotal to driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the high standards of quality and service that our customers expect. The successful candidate will lead a team of sales associates, oversee inventory control, and act as the primary liaison between the store and corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed the monthly sales targets set by the company through proactive merchandising, upselling, and customer engagement strategies.
- Coordinate and supervise the monthly Stock Opname (stock‑taking) process, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, accurate counts, and timely reconciliation of variances.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly reports, including attendance logs, sales performance dashboards, operational expense summaries, and any other required documentation for senior management.
- Develop and manage the store’s staffing schedule, allocating personnel effectively to cover peak hours, special promotions, and inventory activities while maintaining labor cost efficiency.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate sales staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high morale, and excellent customer service.
- Monitor product freshness, shelf life, and merchandising standards to guarantee compliance with food safety regulations and brand guidelines.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations with professionalism, turning potential issues into opportunities for loyalty building.
- Collaborate with the regional procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and effective handling of promotional merchandise.
- Utilize point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications to track sales trends, analyze performance metrics, and make data‑driven decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in sales or retail, preferably within the FMCG or grocery sector.
- Valid motorbike and SIM C (motorcycle driving license).
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and deliver outstanding service.
- Strong communication skills, honesty, discipline, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including MS Excel and POS software.
- Residency in Wonomulyo or surrounding areas, with deep local market knowledge.
- Flexible to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑18:00.
