Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks, including espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, French press, and cold brew, while maintaining consistent quality and taste.
- Create intricate latte art designs that enhance the visual appeal of each cup, reinforcing our brand’s commitment to creativity and craftsmanship.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing tools, performing routine cleaning and minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations, and educating them about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, notifying management of low stock and assisting with restocking procedures.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food items and regular workstation sanitation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate peak‑hour service, ensuring smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in regular training sessions and coffee tasting events to stay current with industry trends and improve personal skill set.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized café environment, contributing to a positive atmosphere for both customers and teammates.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 28 years.
- Residency in or around Yogyakarta preferred.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Prior experience with espresso machines or manual brewing tools is a strong plus, though motivated beginners are also welcome.
- Open‑minded, eager to learn new techniques, and adaptable to evolving menu offerings.
- Demonstrated trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
