Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s capital‑granting programs and encouraging participation in loan schemes.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, offering tailored financial coaching and monitoring the progress of existing members.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports on applicant creditworthiness, market conditions, and repayment capacity, feeding data into the central decision‑making system.
- Execute collection activities, including courteous yet firm follow‑up calls and visits, to secure timely repayments while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with regional managers and the central operations team to share market insights, suggest product improvements, and help shape local outreach strategies.
- Maintain accurate field logs, GPS‑tracked visit records, and documentation of all client interactions for audit and performance monitoring purposes.
- Participate in community events, financial literacy workshops, and local networking groups to raise Amartha’s brand visibility and build trust among potential borrowers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Gender: Open to all; female candidates are preferred to align with community outreach goals.
- Own reliable motorized transportation (motorbike or car) for daily field visits.
- Excellent integrity, honesty, and attention to detail; ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in simple terms.
- Resilience and discipline to work independently in rural environments, often under challenging weather or travel conditions.
- Basic digital literacy – comfortable using smartphones, mobile data collection apps, and Amartha’s internal CRM system.
- No prior experience required; however, previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
