Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for assigned subjects, aligning with the national curriculum and school’s educational standards.
- Integrate Qur’anic memorization (minimum 15 Juz) and proper Tajwid into daily teaching activities, encouraging students to develop both academic and spiritual competencies.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely feedback and individualized support.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects, promote teamwork, and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grading sheets, and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events such as parent‑teacher conferences and extracurricular activities.
- Serve as a mentor for student clubs, especially those focused on religious studies, debate, or community service.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Continuously update personal knowledge through reading, research, and participation in relevant training programs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Islamic Studies, or a related field from a recognized state university.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Memorization of a minimum of 15 Juz of the Qur’an (Tahfidz) with the ability to recite fluently and teach Tajwid.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
- Excellent classroom management, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
- Passionate about student development, with a focus on ethical and moral guidance.
