Responsibilities
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑making equipment to produce a wide range of beverages, from classic Americanos to intricate latte art creations.
- Maintain strict quality standards by following precise recipes, monitoring brewing times, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering menu questions, and recommending drinks based on individual preferences.
- Drive sales through effective up‑selling, cross‑selling, and promotional activities, encouraging customers to explore seasonal specials and complementary food items.
- Handle cash register duties accurately, process payments, and manage daily financial reconciliation.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to hygiene protocols, sanitizing equipment, and complying with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with teammates to restock supplies, manage inventory, and prepare the outlet for opening and closing shifts.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new brewing techniques, product launches, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK).
- Age: 28 years old or younger; open to all genders.
- At least one year of proven experience as a barista or in a similar food‑service role.
- Demonstrated ability to operate espresso machines, grinders, and related coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina and mental resilience to handle long shifts (07:00 – 01:00) and a fast‑moving environment.
- Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a genuine passion for serving customers.
- Positive attitude, optimism, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Availability to work at our Salatiga outlet on a full‑time basis; must not be currently enrolled in academic studies.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and the ability to perform simple inventory checks.
