Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages to exacting standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work station, including regular equipment cleaning and routine maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering product recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments through POS systems, and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and assist in ordering supplies to prevent stockouts and maintain optimal product freshness.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, following proper sanitation protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to manage peak‑hour rushes, ensuring orders are delivered promptly without sacrificing quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions, stay updated on new coffee trends, and contribute ideas for menu innovation.
- Provide feedback to management regarding equipment performance, customer preferences, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (preference based on location regulations).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- At least 1 year of proven experience working as a barista in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, quick learning ability, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑making equipment.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
