Responsibilities
- Assist senior kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning according to standardized recipes.
- Execute basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, boiling, and assembling plated dishes under supervision.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring all workstations, equipment, and storage areas are clean and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels of staple items, report shortages, and help with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including morning and evening rotations, and be flexible to cover additional hours during peak service periods.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings, taking note of menu changes, special dietary requests, and any operational updates.
- Support the kitchen’s waste‑reduction initiatives by properly labeling leftovers and minimizing food spoilage.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
- Continuously develop culinary knowledge by attending on‑the‑job training sessions, tasting sessions, and reviewing recipe manuals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Ability to work in a shift system, including weekdays and weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
