Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Kepala Sekolah (Pimpinan Pendidikan) to lead our early childhood education institution located near Politeknik Bandung. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the academic and operational excellence of our preschool and daycare programs. The ideal candidate is a dedicated female professional with a strong background in early childhood education, proven managerial experience, and a passion for nurturing both children and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational and academic activities of the school, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning.
- Design, implement, and continuously evaluate the curriculum and educational programs, aligning them with national standards and the latest pedagogical research.
- Supervise teachers and support staff, conducting regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Enforce school SOPs, policies, and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing compliance and high safety standards.
- Foster strong communication channels with parents, the foundation, and community stakeholders, promoting transparency and partnership.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment, including facility upgrades, technology integration, and innovative teaching methods.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to the foundation, detailing academic outcomes, financial health, and strategic progress.
- Lead curriculum development for PAUD, emphasizing the “sentra” learning approach and age‑appropriate pedagogies.
- Organize extracurricular and enrichment activities that support holistic child development.
- Handle budgeting, resource allocation, and staff scheduling to maximize efficiency and educational impact.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 in PGPAUD, Psychology, or a related field.
- Gender: Female.
- Age: 35‑45 years.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Kepala Sekolah in a PAUD or daycare setting.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisive decisions, and manage change.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with teachers, parents, and the foundation.
- Technical Competencies: Familiarity with early childhood teaching methods (especially the “sentra” approach), curriculum development, staff evaluation, and educational ethics.
- Location: Residency in or near Bandung (Kab. Bandung Barat, Bandung, or surrounding areas) to ensure easy access to the school.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 06:45 – 16:30.
