Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Technician Intern (Magang) – Industrial Practice Training. This hands‑on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment located in Bitung, Tangerang. The program is designed for recent graduates or students from vocational schools (SMK) who wish to develop technical expertise, understand preventive maintenance processes, and contribute to the safety and efficiency of our production facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports for senior engineers.
- Execute repair tasks in accordance with work instructions, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate and monitor supporting utility machines, such as compressors, pumps, and HVAC systems, while observing safety protocols.
- Assist engineering teams in preparing for equipment modifications or the installation of new production assets, including layout planning and material handling.
- Support the calibration process by completing checklists, verifying instrument accuracy, and recording results for compliance audits.
- Participate in the operation and testing of fire protection and occupational safety systems, helping to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicating status updates and coordinating tasks to ensure seamless workflow.
- Continuously learn and apply industry best practices, contributing ideas for process improvements and cost‑saving measures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial machinery; prior exposure to preventive maintenance is a plus.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and safety procedures.
- Open to full‑time placement in Bitung, Tangerang, with a work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 07:30 – 16:30.
- No age limit or prior work experience required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential.
