Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Operations Associate to join our fast‑paced culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including beef katsu rice bowls, ayam geprek, noodles, vegetable sides, and satay according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized before and after use.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, communicate shortages to the head chef, and assist with daily stock checks.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to coordinate timing of orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers during both lunch and dinner shifts.
- Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper storage temperatures, cross‑contamination prevention, and accurate labeling.
- Participate in regular kitchen briefings, offering suggestions for menu improvements, waste reduction, and process efficiency.
- Assist in training new kitchen assistants, sharing best practices for cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
- Track portion control and contribute to incentive programs based on per‑portion production metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a cook or kitchen operative in a fast‑service or casual dining environment.
- Educational background: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old, with a flexible attitude toward shift work.
