Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promoter to oversee and drive sales activities in the Madiun area. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, cultivating strong relationships with merchants, and leading a team of 15‑20 sales promoters. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with proven leadership abilities, a knack for communication, and a solid understanding of retail promotion and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve area‑wide sales targets in alignment with corporate goals.
- Conduct daily visits to merchant locations, building and maintaining productive relationships with store PICs (persons in charge).
- Ensure all promotional programs run smoothly, meeting or exceeding their sales objectives.
- Oversee the proper placement and visibility of POP (point‑of‑purchase) materials within partner stores.
- Collaborate with partner operational teams to gather market intelligence, competitor activity, and field‑level issues.
- Manage a team of 15‑20 sales promoters, providing direction, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Monitor daily activities and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each promoter.
- Design and deliver field training sessions, including onboarding and refresher courses, to enhance team competency.
- Utilize MS Office and Excel to track sales data, prepare reports, and analyze trends.
- Adapt to shift work schedules, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 11:00‑20:00).
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent diploma.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales of financial services such as insurance, unit trusts, or similar products.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and a geographical area.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, and proficiency in social media marketing.
- Analytical skills for sales and data analysis.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, especially Excel, for reporting and data management.
- Flexibility to work shifting schedules and occasional weekend duties.
