Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Barista to join our vibrant coffee team at our Kemang locations. This entry‑level position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for specialty coffee, excellent customer service, and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. The role is based in the trendy Kemang district of South Jakarta, with additional placement options in Kemang Pratama, Bekasi.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based beverages, brewed coffee, and teas according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work station, including daily cleaning of equipment, counters, and dining area.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices safely, performing routine calibration and basic troubleshooting.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering menu questions, and recommending drink options.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments through POS systems, and ensure accurate cash handling at shift end.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, notifying the supervisor of low stock.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring swift service without compromising quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions to deepen knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including equipment shutdown, cleaning logs, and store security checks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK/Sederajat).
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required).

- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday – Saturday).
- Basic understanding of coffee preparation or a strong desire to develop barista skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
