Introduction

ADIRA, a leading multifinance institution serving the North Kalimantan region, is seeking a motivated Staff Penagihan Lapangan (Field Collection Officer) to join our dynamic team in Sampit. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio by ensuring timely payments from our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the willingness to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive collection calls and visits to customers who are overdue on payments, following ADIRA’s compliance guidelines.
  • Plan and execute daily field routes within the assigned geographical area, ensuring coverage of all delinquent accounts.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements, propose realistic repayment solutions, and secure commitments while preserving customer relationships.
  • Prepare accurate, timely reports on collection activities, including visit outcomes, payment received, and any escalations needed.
  • Collaborate with internal credit, legal, and customer service teams to resolve complex cases and update account status.
  • Identify early warning signs of potential defaults and recommend preventive actions to management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to ADIRA’s code of conduct during all field interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collection, preferably within the multifinance or banking sector. Fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions.
  • Own a reliable motor vehicle and possess a valid SIM C (mandatory for field work).
  • Male candidates only, as per the current operational policy for this role.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to persuade and influence customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in basic English is a plus.
  • Target‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection quotas.
  • Good knowledge of the local Sampit area, including key neighborhoods and transportation routes.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.
